Pat Hammond is a retired hydrogeologist with decades of experience in water resource management, fractured rock analysis, and groundwater protection. His work has shaped Maryland’s policies on water withdrawals and drought yield assessments. He served as a lead researcher for the Maryland Department of Environment. He recently completed a comprehensive study on Poolesville’s public water supply wells.
